Days like today...

Are what life is all about! It's a gorgeous 73 degrees with a slight breeze. My boys are playing basketball and my hubby is in heaven using his new tractor. I've "forced" myself (those of you who know me well know I'm not much of a sitter) to sit outside and enjoy the beautiful weather. I'm amazed at how peaceful and quiet it is. This is something I will never take for granted!

This past weekend our cub scouts met with another group to design and cut out our pinewood derby cars. It was neat to see the different designs take shape. We have our big race March 10th. More pictures to come!

February fun!

February has been an exciting month for us! Many calves have been born. The boys love to check each morning before school to see if any more have been born. We've had 7 so far and have a few more to go.

We also went to the Ada cattle show last weekend. Kristi and I decided to set up a booth for our store Uniques...we had a lot of fun and did really well!!! Looks like we'll be setting up shop each show we go to.

The boys are really getting excited about showing... They weren't old enough to participate in the Ada show but the judge was nice enough to let them "practice". They were thrilled!

It's hard to believe we started the week off with snow and are warming to 60 today! It's been a strange winter but we've enjoyed the warmer temps.

This is a very random post but it should catch you up!

Looking more like a house each day!

The framing is finished! We've enjoyed checking out the progress each day. We are going to have to most amazing view of the sunset each night! They are incredible.

I'm also substitute teaching for a third grade class for the next six weeks while their teacher is on maternity leave. I have a good group of 19. It's nice to get to know the teachers and a bit more about the school.
